Douglas Doughty
EXPERIENCE

Douglas Doughty joined Bain Capital in 2023. He is a Managing Director and Head of Strategy for Real Estate.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Douglas was a Managing Director and Head of Strategy and Special Situations for Fortress Investment Group where he was responsible for investment strategy of the global real estate platform and portfolio management of the real estate value-add initiative. Prior to joining Fortress, he was Global Head of Business Development for J.P. Morgan Asset Management Global Real Assets where he was a management committee member overseeing a global real estate, infrastructure, and maritime investment management platform. Douglas has over 25 years of real estate investment management, investment banking, and consulting experience.

EDUCATION

Douglas received his MBA from J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a BS in economics and accounting from Pennsylvania State University.
